I am at a client site where they have been strictly waterfall and heavy, heavy on the process for a long time.  Now they are somewhat open to trying some new things.  So I am easing them into exploratory testing ideas.  It would be fun to try this with them.]]></description>

I say that in part for making the distinction between the two kinds of pausing which I could adopt; we originally did have it broken into two pretty much as you describe, and thanks to your I&#039;ll consider breaking them out again)

But mostly I say Bravo for the last paragraph.

Yes, its a good practice not to give importance to number of test cases or even to number of bugs.

Value is what is important. The more valuable the information, the more closer is the person to the mission.
